Founded by therapist Ms. Berthina McGill. We are a private practice that provides compassionate and professional support to individuals, couples and families. Our team of highly qualified therapists is the heart of our practice. They have been helping clients overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Berthina McGill, Lead Therapist

Berthina McGill is a therapist licensed in both Florida and Virginia. She is the Chief Executive Officer of Appendix Inc. Counseling and Wellness where she serves clients of all ages, identifications, present issues and walks of life. As a therapist, she believes that therapy should focus on equipping clients with the tools they need to overcome their challenges.

Born in Gainesville FL; however, completed her formative years in Norfolk VA. A proud HBCU graduate and states that she found her identity at Virginia State University. A proud mother and entrepreneur that focuses on being authentically creative. She loves music of all kinds and finding new and exciting adventures. Professionally, she is always seeking to grow, learn and help others. Featured in several podcasts, public speaking events and is extremely active in the mental health community. Berthina feels as if the field chose her and she answered the calling. She believes that her passion is her profession; therefore, she is always yet never working.
